Food Diary

The first step towards healthy eating and loosing weight is being aware of what you are doing and feeling around food on a daily minute by minute basis.

It is easy to underestimate how much you eat and how you are feeling when you reach for food is probably something you are not aware of. By keeping a diary you can see what habits you have around food and when you reach for food for comfort. Keep a note of everything you eat and drink from the minute you wake until you go to sleep.   This is purely for your information so be honest with yourself.

Do this exercise on a couple of work days and over a weekend.  Once you can see what it is you are eating, when and why, you can then begin to take small action steps in changing your eating habits.
